Show Wesugi

Show Wesugi started his professional career in 1991 with WANDS, but
he took the way of music when he still was at the junior high school, when he used to listen to Guns n’ Roses. In fact he formed a band called ”EXPLODE“ and made live events with it.
From 1991 to 1996 he released 11 singles and 4 albums with WANDS, then, he formed the band al.ni.co in 1997 with Hiroshi Shibasaki, leaving WANDS. The group released 3 singles and 1 album in total and then, disbanded in 2001 with the last live tour.
After this, he decided to establish his own label ”pojjo record“ and start a solo career.
In 2004 he released his first solo mini-album called ”L.O.G“ and in 2005, he released ”Tonde Chire“ and ”poo pee people“ with PATA (from X JAPAN).
In 2006 he released the album ”Blackout in the Galaxy“ and a cover album called ”SPOILS“ where he revised the songs ”Sabishisa Wa Aki No Iro“ by WANDS, ”TOY$!“ (which became a single: ”TOY$! (Scrambled Mix)“) by al.ni.co and many other songs (including non-Japanese songs).
In 2007 he formed the band Nekodamashi and in 2008 they released their first mini-abum ”Warp“ after 2 singles. In September 2009, miya38 (a member of the band) died for cancer, so, one year after, in 2010, Nekodamashi released the single ”miya38 tribute songs“, that was, like the title says, a tribute single for him. This single contains 3 original songs by miya38 that have been covered by Nekodamashi.
Coming back in 2009, Show produced an album of the band JAZZNEKO and reopened his solo career with the live event ”Ja-palooza09“. In the same year he collaborated with JESUS (from JAZZNEKO) and released the song ”About A Future“ which was a bonus track in the JAZZNEKO’s album ”In The Name Of The Revolution“ and in 2010 ”Never Come Again“ which was a bonus track in the JAZZNEKO’s single ”Confusion The Live“.
On July 16th 2011, pojjorecord Youtube Channel has uploaded a cover song called "Tomo Yo". At the moment Show Wesugi is recording his new album ”Numbered My Voices“.
